Commercial deep cleaning for Metro Detroit buildings
Commercial deep cleaning covers what regular cleaning misses in your Metro Detroit building: vents, light fixtures, baseboards, underneath furniture, grout and carpet, top to bottom. RCO Cleaning deep cleans offices, retail stores, plants and public buildings throughout Oakland, Wayne and Macomb counties with its own equipment. The first deep cleaning is complimentary with the start of a regular cleaning contract. Call (248) 849-0000.
Free walkthrough & quote248-849-0000A quote within 24 hours of the walkthroughWhen does a commercial building need a deep clean?
A commercial building is ready for a deep clean when the months of accumulated dirt and grime have outpaced daily cleaning: dust on vents, light fixtures and tops of cabinets. Dirt along baseboards and corners. Gray traffic lanes in the carpet. Grout that's changed from tan to brown. Regular cleaning tackles everyday messes, and a deep clean erases the rest all at once and gives the building a fresh baseline.
Plenty of buildings need one of these at a turning point: before reopening a space, before an inspection or big visit, after renovations, with season changes or when switching cleaning companies. The first deep clean with a new RCO routine contract is on us: we'll deep clean the building the first week, getting it into its best shape. Then we maintain that cleanliness with your routine.
We begin with a walkthrough and a written scope outlining exactly which rooms and surfaces will be cleaned. Crews clean from the top down: starting with high dusting vents, diffusers, fixtures and ledges, then walls, doors and frames, furniture and fixtures, and then the floors. RCO's own equipment does the heavy lifting: high powered vacuums, carpet extractors, and floor machines and our own floor scrubber for hard surfaces.
If the walkthrough turns up water damage, mold or smoke damage, that is restoration work, and RCO's sister company RMO Mitigation & Restoration (248-845-0000) handles it.

How often deep cleaning is typically done
This is a typical routine. Your walkthrough decides the actual one for your building.
- 1At the start of a contract
As part of the initiation of a new RCO cleaning contract, your building will receive one free deep clean the first week.
- 2Once or twice a year
Lots of buildings have a good deep cleaning once or twice a year. Springtime is common after Michigan winters filled with salt and slush.
- 3Quarterly in busy spaces
Medical offices, dealerships and restaurants are examples of high-traffic buildings that may require sections of the deep clean quarterly.
- 4Before an event
Deep cleans are scheduled as one-time jobs before a reopening, inspection, move-in or major visit.

Commercial deep cleaning questions
Don’t see yours? Call 248-849-0000 and ask the people who will clean your building.
How is a deep clean different from regular cleaning?
Day-to-day cleaning accounts for what happens regularly: garbage, bathrooms, vacuuming and wiping. Deep cleaning entails everything that accumulates over months: high surfaces, baseboards, underneath furniture, carpet extraction, floor scrubbing and grout. It brings the facility back to square one for daily cleaning to maintain.
Is the deep clean really free?
If you sign up for a regular cleaning contract with RCO, yes: that first deep clean is included with beginning the contract. If it's a one time deep clean with no contract, we quote from the walkthrough just like any other job would be.
How long does a deep clean take?
It depends on the square footage of the building and project specs. We will provide you with a plan after our walkthrough, and larger buildings can be completed in sections over several nights or a weekend so your business doesn't have to close.
Will a deep clean disrupt our business?
It doesn't have to interrupt your day. We clean 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Deep cleaning can be done overnight, or during a weekend or holiday when the building is vacant.
What if you find water damage or mold?
We'll stop and tell you. Water, mold, fire and sewage damage are restoration work, which RCO's sister company RMO Mitigation & Restoration handles at 248-845-0000. Cleaning picks up again once that work is done.
How is deep cleaning priced?
Based on cleanable square footage and the scope you pick. The walkthrough costs nothing, your quote arrives within 24 hours of it, and how we price and bid explains what goes into the price.
