How is a commercial space cleaned between tenants?

We will clean a tenant vacated commercial space top to bottom: high areas, walls and doors, restrooms, kitchen and break room, interior glass, floors (including carpet extraction and hard floor scrubbing if needed). RCO will walk the space with you first and verify what needs to be cleared prior to our crew arriving (furniture, equipment, trash, etc.) and will provide a quote to you within 24 hours of the walkthrough.

Does the space need to be empty?

Ideally yes. Furniture, equipment and stray items should be removed prior to cleaning so our crews can access every square foot of floors and walls. If there are pieces that will remain with the space please let us know at walkthrough and we'll work around them.

Do you remove furniture and leftover items?

No. Moving and junk removal is not cleaning. We will bag normal trash that is left behind in the space, but we will inform you at the walkthrough of what needs to be removed prior to crew arrival.

What does broom clean mean in a commercial lease?

Generally speaking that translates to the space being empty and swept with nothing left behind. However many landlords and tenants want more than that, like clean bathrooms, kitchens and carpet. Look at your lease to see what it specifies and we'll scope to match.

Can you clean the carpet as part of the move?

Yes. Often carpet extraction can produce the largest impact on the appearance of an empty space, particularly where furniture has been located for years.
