Our office is located in Southfield at 18000 W 9 Mile Rd. Our teams are in offices, factories, dealerships, schools and other facilities throughout Oakland, Wayne and Macomb counties. We drive on the same roads and experience the same winters as our customers.

Michigan weather takes its toll on buildings. Here are some inspections we recommend to the managers we serve.

Place walk-off mats both inside and outside every main entrance prior to first snowfall.
During salt season, clean mats frequently and damp mop entrances often before salt residue dulls floor finish.
On snowy days, leave wet-floor signs by entrances and clean up the melted snow as it is tracked inside.
During spring cleaning, power wash sidewalks and entrances to wash away winter salt and dirt.
Schedule carpet cleaning near entrances once salt season ends.
Wash windows in spring when they're covered with road spray and dirt from winter.
Wipe down doorknobs, elevator buttons and shared kitchen appliances more often during cold and flu season.
In fall, keep leaves and grit swept from entrances so they aren't tracked onto the floors.
