How much does commercial cleaning cost?

Commercial cleaning expenses vary by building. That's why RCO doesn't provide a price list. Two buildings with the same square footage may require dramatically different cleaning. A dealership with a glass showroom and busy service drive will require different work than a suite of private offices that is the same size. And that's different still from what you'll need at a manufacturing plant.

We price off of what your facility actually needs: size (cleanable square footage) and job needs. We like to be as flexible as we can at RCO. We would rather talk you through some plans and proposals and let you pick what you want instead of throwing a number at you and hoping it works.

Our prices are competitive. The bid is realistic because we have walked the building.

What goes into a commercial cleaning bid?

Cleanable square footage is where we begin your bid. These are the things that mold the rest of the price.

Cleanable square footage
The floor space that our crews clean. Storage rooms, mechanical rooms or floors that are out of service can be excluded.
Scope
Trash and recycling, restrooms, dusting, vacuuming, hard floors, glass, break rooms and anything else specific to your building.
Frequency
How often a task takes place, from nightly to weekly, including periodic tasks like carpet cleaning, floor refinishing and windows.
Hours
When does the work take place? Nights, weekends, holidays, daytime cleaning and day porter coverage are all options, and we plan around that schedule.
Special areas
Areas requiring additional time or care: many restrooms, exam rooms, kitchens, showrooms, manufacturing floors, extensive glass walls and windows, secure rooms.
Floors
How much carpet and how much hard floor, and whether the hard floor has a finish that requires periodic burnishing or refinishing.
Supplies
Do paper products, soap and trash liners come with the contract, or do you provide them?

Can you give me a price for commercial cleaning over the phone?

We can discuss what factors into price, but an exact figure cannot be determined without the walkthrough. The walkthrough is free, and you will receive your quote within 24 hours.

Is the first deep clean an extra charge?

No. RCO always includes a complimentary deep clean the first week of service, so your building starts the contract in its best shape. With larger buildings, we can also write complimentary services such as window cleaning and carpet spot cleaning into the quote.

What if our needs change after we sign?

Inform your contact. We adjust the cleaning system to your building. Should costs change, we will discuss and agree on any changes with you before implementation.

Do you take one-time projects as well as contracts?

Yes. Deep cleaning, post-construction cleaning, carpet cleaning and window cleaning as well as pressure washing can all be requested as one-time services. They are bid upon in the same way. We inspect first, then provide a quote.
