Our commercial cleaning process in Metro Detroit, from walkthrough to routine
Our commercial cleaning process has three parts: estimating, with a free walkthrough and a quote within 24 hours; prep, with a cleaning system tailored to your building and a complimentary deep clean in the first week; and execution, the routine our managers inspect. RCO Cleaning runs this system in buildings throughout Oakland, Wayne, and Macomb counties. Give us a call at (248) 849-0000.

A free deep clean to start
We bring the building up to standard the first week, then larger buildings receive free tile, grout and window cleaning as well. After that it's a regular schedule with manager inspections.
Stage 2: how is your building prepared?
Once you approve the quote, we prep the building before the routine starts.
- 01
A cleaning system for your building
We document what is cleaned, how frequently, at what time and with what equipment, room by room. It's custom-made for your building, not duplicated from the previous facility.
- 02
Access and site rules
Keys. Alarm codes. Sign-in policies. Restricted areas. Locations of supplies, trash and recycling. The team learns them all prior to its first night shift.
- 03
A free deep clean in the first week
RCO always performs a complimentary deep clean so that the building can be in top shape as soon as possible. During the first week, crews focus on the built up dirt on floors, restrooms, break rooms, baseboards, vents and glass.
- 04
The routine begins
Once the building is in peak condition, the regular schedule begins. Its task is to keep it at that level.
Stage 3: how does RCO Cleaning run your building's routine?
Once the routine is running, this is what you should see.
Cleaning on your schedule
Nights, weekends, holidays or daytime. Whenever it is convenient for the building, RCO can provide service. RCO doesn't sleep, so we work around your business.
The same checklist every time
With crews following your building's cleaning system room by room, nothing is left to memory.
Managers checking the work
Our managers quality-check the work that is done to ensure the standard is met, and they find issues before you do.
Problems fixed quickly
When something is missed, management owns it and makes it right fast.
Periodic work on a calendar
Deeper tasks like carpet cleaning, floor refinishing and window cleaning are planned in advance so they occur when expected and don't disrupt your employees.
How are changes and requests handled?
Buildings change. Here is how we handle it.
A one-time request
Carpets cleaned before an event, windows before a visit, cleanup after a remodel. Inform your contact and we will set it up and confirm costs prior to service.
A change to the routine
New tenant, a floor back in use, changed hours. We adjust the cleaning program to fit your building's needs. If costs change, we discuss it with you and agree before anything changes.
Something was missed
Call or message your contact with the issue. It routes to your building's manager, gets fixed quickly, and you get notified when it's complete.
Something beyond cleaning
Water damage, mold, fire damage and sewage backups need restoration, not cleaning. Our sister company, RMO Mitigation & Restoration, handles those.
Questions about starting commercial cleaning
How soon can you start cleaning our building?
Immediately after signing a cleaning contract. The first week comes with one free deep clean. Then it's just routine from there.
Do I need to be there for the walkthrough?
Walkthroughs are more effective when you have someone familiar with the facility: which rooms are used, areas with special rules and known problem areas. Walkthroughs are free of charge.
Can you clean while our building is open?
Yes. We clean during the day and night. Many buildings have the bulk of their cleaning done after hours and a day porter to tidy up restrooms, lobbies and break rooms during the day.
We already have a cleaning company. How does switching work?
Just let us know when your current contract expires and we will schedule the walkthrough and start date accordingly. Our complimentary deep cleaning the first week covers whatever has accumulated.
